Online Domestic Energy Assessing Skills Bootcamp Course (South Yorkshire)

No specific qualifications or previous experience is required in order to become a DEA.

With no previous experience required, this funded training in Level 3 Domestic Energy Assessing enables learners to recognise their knowledge for individuals who wish to work as a qualified, accredited Domestic Energy Assessor (DEA) within the UK. This online training supports the learner to attain fundamental and transferable practical skills with the associated underpinning knowledge needed to be an energy assessor.

This qualification covers the required skills in order to be a DEA, including:

· How to undertake energy assessments in a safe, effective manner

· The necessary preparation and undertaking of an energy assessment

· How to produce and explain an Energy Performance Certificate (EPC) relating to domestic property

This funded training allows you flexibility to train online during weekday evenings (Monday - Friday) & Saturdays*. With this course being delivered remotely, it allows you to control your work/life balance by giving you the option to complete the course from home over the duration of your training.

Progression:

Once the course is completed, learners may wish to become a Domestic Energy Assessor (DEA) or progress onto higher level Non-Domestic Energy Assessment (NDEA) qualifications, for example the City & Guilds Level 4 Diploma in Non-Domestic Energy Assessment.
