  • Entry into a tunnel environment
  • Surface works and shafts
  • Tunnel construction
  • Tunnelling plant and equipment
  • Control of underground plant during tunnelling operations
  • Emergency arrangements
  • Occupational Health

Duration

  • 1 day (all learners are required to complete the full 7.5 hours for certification).

Examination

  • The examination will consist of 25 multiple-choice type questions. This exam is 30 minutes and learners are required to get a mark of at least 18/25 (72%) to pass the examination.
  • The certification for this course is valid for 3 years. Upon expiry, you will need to retake the course to remain certified.
  • This is a CITB accredited course, price confirmed at time of course booking date with a CITB certificate that will be issued once the course is completed.
