Description
This Site Environmental Awareness Training course is designated to site supervisors and managers with the aim of providing increased awareness environmental issues on construction sites.
This course provides learners basic environmental and sustainability knowledge that will enable construction supervisors/managers minimise the environmental impacts of their work and identify ways to improve them.
Modules for this course include:
· Sustainable construction and the environment
· Environmental management systems
· Archaeology and heritage
· Ecology and biodiversity
· Statutory nuisance
· Water management and pollution control
· Resource management
· Soil management and contamination control
· Waste and material management
Duration = 1 day (all learners are required to complete the full 7 hours for certification).
Examination = the examination will consist of 25 questions, with 22 multiple-choice questions and 3 short multiple-response questions, scoring between 1 and 3 marks. Learners are required to get a mark of at least 24/30 (80%) to pass the examination.
The certification for this course is valid for 5 years. Upon expiry, you will need to retake the course.
This is a CITB accredited course, price confirmed at time of course booking date with a CITB certificate that will be issued once the course is completed.
